Many of my Houston ethnic rhinoplasty patients will ask how this type of rhinoplasty is different.  Ethnic rhinoplasty which, usually refers to African American rhinoplasty or Asian rhinoplasty, requires an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon in this type of surgery.  Frequently, these type of ethnic noses will have a low dorsum or bridge, bulbous nasal tip, and poor tip support.  Ethnic rhinoplasty may require a rib graft or implant to build up the bridge.  Tip support and cartilage grafting will be necessary to create a more refined tip and support a flat nasal tip.
