There is been a significant amount of generated interest in non-surgical rhinoplasty or a liquid nose job using fillers such as Restylane or Radiesse. If the filler particle is injected with enough pressure, it can move back and occlude the artery supplying blood and oxygen to the retina leading to visual loss.

Filler injections to the nose are temporary and can lead to scarring making future surgery more difficult.
