Will rhinoplasty change my smile?

Rhinoplasty or nose job surgery frequently includes septoplasty to correct a deviated septum or obtain cartilage for grafting purposes. This aspect of rhinoplasty can lead to some swelling and tightness of the upper lip which makes the smile feel tight with less teeth show….initially. As this swelling subsides after rhinoplasty, the smile will return to normal. This will typically take at least 3 weeks to occur but can last for as long as 6-12 weeks.
