Revision rhinoplasty may require cartilage grafting from other areas if there is insufficient septal cartilage available. One area is the conchal cartilage. This is the portion of ear cartilage that forms the bowl like appearance in front of the ear canal. The incision is behind the ear and ear cartilage for revision rhinoplasty is a common practice.
