Many of my Houston patients call asking if I perform a non surgical nose job or rhinoplasty. This is somewhat of an oxymoron as a nose job or rhinoplasty is actual surgery. These patients are desiring changes to the shape of their nose using fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, or Radiesse. This should be described more as non surgical nose reshaping.

Filler to the nose can be used to fill the areas below or above a nasal hump to give the illusion of a straighter profile or bridge of the nose. But make no mistake, this will make your nose bigger! Fillers to the nose will not address any functional or breathing issues you may have. They will not refine the nasal tip or narrow the nose at all. They may cause scarring that would make future surgery more difficult. They are temporary.

Fillers to the nose do have place after surgery if there is a minor depression or imperfection that needs to be touched up. This is a practical option for injecting fillers into the nose.
