Botox for a droopy nasal tip

Many of my Houston rhinoplasty patients complain of a droopy nasal tip and for this reason seek rhinoplasty or nose job surgery. Botox is another alernative to rhinoplasty for a downward rotated nasal tip. Botox for a droopy nasal tip can be injected into the depressor septi muscle which is responsible for turning the tip downward, especially with smiling. This will weaken that muscle and ultimately lead to the nasal tip rotating or at least not drooping with smiling. Of course, the degree of rotation achieved is not as impressive as one could expect with rhinoplasty, it is still there.

Dr. Funk is a top rhinoplasty surgeon in Houston, Texas.
