Nose Job Imaging

Many of my Houston nose job or rhinoplasty patients come in for a consultation and want to see the digital imaging or rendering of what their nose may look like. They may ask how close of a surgical result Dr. Funk might attain to the imaging result. Rhinoplasty patients need to understand that the digital imaging result does not reflect an exact surgical result. The changes on the frontal view that are made are in 2 dimensions where the nose is a 3 dimensional object. I have therefore found that the changes made surgically on the frontal view look better than the digital rendering. It is important to note that with surgery, there is a whole wound healing process that cannot be controlled. This may lead to scar tissue build up or contracture of the skin in a different way.

Dr. Funk is a rhinoplasty expert in Houston Texas.
