Many of my Houston eyelid surgery patients will ask where the scar is located with eyelid surgery. For upper eyelid surgery, the scar should hide in the crease of the upper eyelid and slightly extend into the crow’s feet wrinkles laterally. For lower eyelid surgery, the incision can be placed in the conjunctiva or pink portion of the eye with a skin pinch or scar just below the lash line that hides nicely in a shaded and slightly wrinkled area.
