Rhinoplasty for a pointy nose?

Although it is uncommon, some of my Houston rhinoplasty patients have concerns about their tip being too pointy or refined. This usually occurs with patients who are seeking revision rhinoplasty. A pointy nasal tip or nasal tip bossae can occur due to over pinching of the cartilage or division of the cartilage. It can also occur due to irregular grafts placed along the tip of the nose.

Revision rhinoplasty for a pointy tip may require repositioning of this cartilage, laying fascia over the tip, or simply removing a tip graft.
