Rhinoplasty for a long nose

Many of my Houston rhinoplasty patients come for consultation and state they feel they have a long nose. When told this, I feel that they should describe what this means to them. Do they feel the tip of the nose sticks out to far on their profile or side view, or do they feel the nose is too long on the frontal view from the forehead to the tip of the nose. This is an important detail to explore as both are addressed very differently during rhinoplasty. Length in the nose from an anatomic perspective is truly defined as the distance from where the forehead meets the nose to the tip of the nose. Rhinoplasty for a long nose is a common procedure performed by Dr. Funk.

Dr. Funk is a top rhinoplasty surgeon in Houston, Texas.
