Many of my Houston eyelid surgery patients wonder if they need a brow lift.

It’s important to have a good evaluation of your eyebrows and upper eyelids. If you have that crepe thin wrinkled skin that is redundant to the upper eyelid, and your eyebrows are in a good position, then an upper blepharoplasty is likely the best surgery. However, if you are a female and your brows lie over the rim of the forehead and you have heavy thicker brow skin that is hooding the eyelid, than a brow lift is your best options. That being said, some patients require both procedures.
