Many of my Houston patients are unsure if they need a facelift or a neck lift or both. This depends on what bothers you most. A mini facelift or short scar facelift will address the jowls, jawline, mid face, and some of the neck. This will lift the cheeks and create the appearance of a higher cheek bone.

A neck lift will tighten the neck and slightly improve the jawline. It will minimally address the jowls and will not address the mid face or cheeks. This is an excellent lift for men.

The scars for the neck lift will extend behind the ear and somewhat in front of the ear whereas the scars for a mini-lift will extend into the hairline, down in front of the ear and behind the earlobe.
