Septal Perforation repair with revision rhinoplasty

The most common cause of a septal perforation is previous nasal surgery with or without rhinoplasty. Patients who see me for revision rhinoplasty may require a septal perforation repair at the same time.

Depending on the size of the perforation, it may be possible to close it during revision rhinoplasty. This may require ear fascia or ear cartilage during the procedure.

Revision rhinoplasty is a complex procedure which is only made more difficult with a need for septal perforation repair. Both of these procedures should be tackled by an experienced and skillful rhinoplasty doctor.

Dr. Funk is a top rhinoplasty doctor in Houston.
