Many of my Houston patients who are inquiring about rhinoplasty are also interested in lower eylid bag surgery or lower blepharoplasty.  A common question is whether these can be performed at the same time.  Although the lower eyelids and nose are in close proximity, it is not uncommon to perform these procedures simultaneously.  Swelling around the eyes after surgery may be slightly worse, but this should settle within the first week.  After rhinoplasty and lower eyelid surgery, the eyes will really pop as the focus will no longer be on the nose and now on more rested, refreshed, and rejuvenated eyes.
