A common question from my Houston rhinoplasty patients is if we use packing with rhinoplasty.  Packing is reserved for patients who have excessive bleeding after rhinoplasty and needs to be removed usually during the first postop visit.  It causes significant pressure and pain and is uncomfortable with removal.  Dr. Funk does not use packing with rhinoplasty.  This leads to a more comfortable, less painful recovery after rhinoplasty.
