Anesthesia for upper blepharoplasty

Many of my upper eyelid surgery patients who come in for consulation are desiring upper blepharoplasty only. This is a procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia or light sedation. Some prefer light sedation in the operating room as we are working on their eyes and this can cause some anxiety in the patient. This type of procedure can also be performed in office under local anesthesia.

Dr. Funk performs eyelid surgery on patients from Houston, Katy, the Woodlands, and outside of Texas as well.
