Many of my cosmeticnose surgerypatients are unaware that one of the reasons their nose may appear over projected or enlarged is that their chin may be a little recessed. Although many of these patients may be coming in for a rhinoplasty consultation, I frequently will discuss the possibility of a chin implant to improve their overall aesthetic appearance.

The profile of the face is all about balance and harmony between the nose, chin, cheeks, and forehead. A chin implant can enhance the profile by creating this proportion between these features.
