Sinus Surgery and Rhinoplasty

This weekend I attended a sinus surgery conference in Houston hosted by the UT ENT department sinus experts. The guest speaker was Dr. Stammberger who is considered one of the top sinus surgeons in the world. I frequently haverhinoplastyornose surgerypatients that have concomitant sinus complaints and may require sinus surgery at the same time as their rhinoplasty. This is not uncommon as the recovery fromsinus surgeryand rhinoplasty is quite similar and patients benefit greatly form improved nasal airflow, decreased sinus infections, and an improved appearance to their nose. Being double board certified in ENT and facial plastic surgery allows me to tackle both sinus surgery and the cosmetic aspect of rhinoplasty.
