What do I need before my procedure?
We require the following items before scheduling a procedure:
- Photographs (front, right side, left side, and underside of nose)
- Deposit
- Brief phone interview with our patient care coordinator
Will I need to come into Houston post-surgery?
Patients from outside Houston will typically spend the night in Houston the night prior to their surgery, especially if they are the first surgery at 7am. Patients who live more than a 3 hour drive away should plan on spending their first night in Houston and head home the following day. Depending on the surgery, Dr. Funk meets with patients 5-7 days postoperatively to check on healing and remove stitches. At this point, the patients can go home and come back to see me 2-4 days later to remove the tape, or they can remove the tape on their own at home. Dr. Funk will typically see patients at one month, three months, 6 months, and 1 year post-surgery.
